a wave and a glare
everything is bound by
a law of constant motion,
this illusion we share.
it’s rush softens to blue
so i try to go with the flow.
the ocean opens to me;
unceasing yet unhurried,
following the breeze.
the ground forgets easily
the heat of my ephemeral step.
a shore washed pure,
water remembers better than i.
it’s currents draw the memories out
to drift into the deep,
letting the past sink.
between my mind, space, and time
there are few barriers.
each moment bleeds the next.
i cycle with the seasons,
planting seeds for others to sow.
balance binds time so i rest
assured each new horizon reveals
hints of what i believed lost,
familiar colors tumbled smooth by the tide.
i claim no debt but the light
always finds its way back.
